The court ruled today (Oct 14) that the former chairman of the former Taekwang Group, Lee Ho-jin, who is controversial about the so-called 'emperor jewelry', has decided to cancel the bail.

The prosecution plans to transfer the former president from his residence to the detention center in southern Seoul in accordance with the decision to cancel the bail.

The 6th Division of the Seoul High Court, which is in charge of the second round of parole charges for the former president 's embezzlement, has canceled the decision to grant the bail to the former president for reasons such as liver cancer treatment.

In the first trial, the prosecution has demanded that the bail be canceled, saying that it seems possible to live as normal as the former president was reported in the media.

The former president did not receive the preferential treatment, but the legitimate law enforcement officer and the non-prosecution principle, but the court did not accept the former president's claim.

The former president was charged with raping 40 billion won in 2011 and arrested on suspicion of embezzlement, but the arrest was suspended in 63 days due to liver cancer and atherosclerosis.

Since then, he has been banned for more than 7 years until recently.

However, criticism has been raised that it is not favored because it is not considered to be a jewel case because of publicly appearing in the media to violate the jewelery condition to stay in the residence and drink alcohol from the outside.

Earlier, Lee was sentenced to three years and six months in prison after being convicted at the first and second hearing, and once the Supreme Court ruling was abandoned, he was convicted of embezzlement at the second round of parole.

On October 25, however, the Supreme Court dismissed the ruling of the former chairman of the Supreme Court for separating the charge of tax portal from other allegations. .
