The order of the competitions at the Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel has been changed due to the weather forecast. The downhill race on the Streif does not take place this Saturday, but was due to expected heavy snow on Friday morning preferred (11.30 clock, TV: ZDF / Eurosport, live ticker SPIEGEL ONLINE).
On Saturday, the slalom race follows (first round at 9.30 am, second round at 12.30 pm, TV: ZDF / Eurosport), and finally on Sunday there is the Super-G (1.30 pm, TV: ZDF / Eurosport).
The plan change is especially pleasing to the slalom riders. "For us that's already huge, of course, that the slalom is on Saturday," said Felix Neureuther. It is "the first time in the history of Kitzbühel that only 50 percent of the spectators are drunk and not 90 percent still have leftovers on Sunday."
