Eleven competitive games in a row Eintracht Frankfurt had last remained unbeaten, the club had won ten games of it. But now the team of coach Adi Hütter has lost another game for the first time. The Eintracht defeated the VfL Wolfsburg at home 1: 2 (0: 1). Admir Mehmedi (31st minute) and Daniel Ginczek (69th) scored the visitors, Luka Jovic scored for Frankfurt. For the first time since the first and second rounds of games, VfL have won two games in a row - because their counter-play worked.

Frankfurt was initially the more dangerous team, but was increasingly vulnerable to counterattacks. So did the Wolfsburg leadership. The Eintracht lost the ball lightly after his own throw. Seconds later Daniel Ginczek played on Mehmedi, who finished in the right corner (31).

The second goal was a similar one: Mijat Gacinovic jumped deep in his own half of the ball. Wolfsburg responded after the ball recapture again quickly and Ginczek used the precise cross from Elvis Rexhbecaj to 2: 0 (69)
