SV Roedinghausen - Bayern Munich 1: 2 (0: 2)
The FC Bayern is against the SV Rödinghausen from the Regionalliga West drafted only with difficulty in the third round. Sandro Wagner brought the record champions after only eight minutes with a remarkable volley hit in the lead, Thomas Müller increased by foul penalty to 2: 0 (13). Just ten minutes later, Leon Goretzka's next penalty was fouled, but Renato Sanches missed out on increasing.
In the second round Rödinghausen was brave and came to success: After a cross from Kelvin Lunga escaped Linus Meyer Rafinha and scored the first goal (51). Goalkeeper Niclas Heimann maintained the hope of the regional league team (75.) with a strong parade against Franck Ribéry - but offensively it was not enough to turn the game.
1. FC Heidenheim - SV Sandhausen 0: 3 (0: 2)
The 1st FC Heidenheim is the third time in the second round of the DFB Cup. In the second division game against SV Sandhausen the Heidenheimer were the more effective team - two chances were enough for the team of coach Frank Schmidt to comfortably go into the lead. It had only been played for eight minutes when Sandhäuser captain Stefan Kulovits fouled Niklas Dorsch. Marc Schnatterer converted the penalty, 1-0. Also on the second goal of the evening Schnatterer was involved. His cross landed with Tim Skarke, who deliberately defeated Nikola Dovedan - and met the turn (19th).
Although Sandhausen played well, but acted with two chances of Korbinian Vollmann (29, 30th) too careless and had even luck after the break that referee Sven Waschitzki after a foul by Tim Kister Dovedan not again on penalty for Heidenheim decided. Shortly before the end of the game Dovedan made everything with his second goal (86.).
