Bayern München remains the economic benchmark in German football. In the past fiscal year 2017/2018, the German record champion once again recorded a record total revenue of 657.4 million euros, with FC Bayern AG alone generating 624.3 million.

Net income after taxes totaled 29.5 million euros, which is just under four million euros less than in the same period of the previous year. 22 million of these are attributable to the AG.

Responsible with contract until 2019

Since the spin-off of the licensed players department in the FC Bayern Munich AG in 2002, revenues have increased according to club information by 355 percent from 176 million to 624 million euros.

In the 2016/2017 season, the total turnover was 640.5 million. Net income was 39.2 million. FC Bayern AG had taken 603.1 million euros and after taxes achieved a profit of 33.2 million. As of June 30, 2017, Munich had reported 445.8 million euros as the equity capital of FC Bayern AG.

The annual general meeting of the Bavarians takes place on 30 November. There are no new elections. President Uli Hoeneß is elected until 2019. The contract of CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also runs until 2019.
