After only 76 minutes: Novak Djokovic has reached the final of the ATP Finals in London. The world ranking first defeated the South African Kevin Anderson 6: 4, 6: 2 in the semi-final and meets in the final on Sunday on Alexander Zverev. For Djokovic, who is the only player in the tournament with no defeat, it is already the seventh final participation in an ATP Finals tournament.

In the remake of last July's Wimbledon final, which saw Djokovic win in straight sets, Djokovic secured the first break against Anderson early on. After less than 40 minutes, the Serb had won the first set against the world ranking sixth.

Also in the second set Djokovic was too strong for Anderson. With strong blows to the baseline, he left Anderson no chance. Already his first service match in the second round had to leave the South African. The break to 4: 1 was already the preliminary decision.

For Djokovic, who has not made a set throughout the tournament, a final would be the crowning achievement of an outstanding year. In addition to the Grand Slam victories in Wimbledon and at the US Open, he already secured the tournament victories at the Masters in Cincinnati and Shanghai.

Since early November Djokovic is again the number one in the world rankings. He had replaced Rafael Nadal as leader.
