Chiba's Chuo Gakuin High School quickly advanced to the semi-finals with their first Senbatsu victory.

They were supported by talented managers who not only supported practice, but also took on a variety of tasks.

Being a manager changed my high school life! ?

``I realized my dream for the future through my job as a manager.'' `

`I fell in love with baseball, but now I love being a manager.'' ``My

dream came true at Koshien.''

Three third-year managers and second-year students support the baseball club. There are a total of 5 people working together.

The job of a manager is wide-ranging, including supporting practices and keeping score at games, but Chuo Gakuin had one unique initiative.

The manager's message is attracting attention!

The homepage, which is being produced by five people, has been enriched and is attracting attention.

In addition to the profiles with photos of the players, the site also features information such as the team's philosophy and career support.

We are particularly focusing on the ``Manager Blog.''

It provides a wide range of information about the daily life of the baseball club, the results of games, and the work of the manager.

The five of us discuss and decide on the content, and we decide to write it in order, and we aim to update it once a week.

Manager Mao Fukuda: ``

I wasn't good at writing, so I was worried about what kind of content I should write. At first, it took me a week to write one book, but now I'm faster and more updated. We were able to increase the frequency of the meetings. Parents of the players usually have their children in the dormitory and can't see them, so now they can say, ``Thank you'' or ``I did this for you.''

Manager Misaki Nukatani

: ``Writing this blog has allowed me to practice and watch the field more often. It has made me realize that I should do something like this for support now.It has made me reconsider the appeal of the baseball club. , I started to like the baseball club even more.”

The person who recommended it was “Idea Man”

This blog has been updated for over a year and is about to become a specialty of the club.

He says he started playing at the recommendation of director Koki Soma.

Director Soma is known as the "idea man" within the department.

The aim of the blog was to get as many people as possible to see the baseball club.

Manager Koki Soma

: ``I wanted people to see what the baseball team is like on a daily basis, such as parents and supporters.I wanted them to be able to do more as a manager, so I started this as a career support tool.''

I didn't think that much

about the fact that I started watching the team more closely. It 's amazing what high school students think and notice.''

In addition to my blog, after starting a new team last summer, I started a new endeavor called "intra-club activities."

All 52 players are involved in activities other than baseball, such as the English club, dance club, or cooking club, depending on their interests.

Recorder Hiroshi Ikoma

: ``At first, I was like, ``What the hell was this guy talking about?'' But as I went along, I realized that this was an effort to improve the atmosphere of the team in ways other than baseball. We are connected. I am also a member of the English club and am working hard with the goal of obtaining the Eiken Level 2 exam."

Coach Soma

: ``I wanted to eliminate the hierarchy of players who play and those who don't.I believe that the most valuable thing about baseball is the connections you make with people, so I've met a lot of great friends, I don't want people to be involved just in baseball. I want to make a team that everyone can enjoy."

The manager joins the cheering squad! ?

Chuo Gakuin operates independently under the supervision of an “idea man.”

One of our managers, 3rd year student Ayaka Nakamura, made her dream come true.

She joined the cheering squad after it was decided that she would be participating in the Senbatsu tournament.

Ayaka Nakamura

I learned about the job opening from the brass band's advisor and applied.

Mr. Nakamura played the flute in the brass band during his junior high school days.

His dream at the time was to perform at a baseball stadium.

After just a week of receiving the sheet music, he was able to memorize, practice, and play more than 10 songs, although some of the songs had many tuplets that he was not good at.

Manager Ayaka Nakamura

: ``It was my dream to perform at the Alps Seats, and it was the most fun I've ever had.In addition to being the manager of the baseball team, I was also a member of the brass band and was able to support them.It was truly a dream come true. I think it came true.I

want to tell the members who have seen their growth day by day, ``Do your best!'' along with everyone in the stands during the performance.I am grateful for the environment where I have been able to have a variety of experiences.''

Aim for your first victory!

A manager who is living his high school life while experiencing growth through his activities in the baseball club.

While valuing the connections between people, we will be cheering from the stands during the semi-finals as well.
