Jordanian star Musa Al-Taamari, a professional for the French football team Montpellier, revealed his talent in reading the Holy Qur’an while leading worshipers in Tarawih prayers yesterday, Monday, in a mosque in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The account of the Hajj Mahmoud Habiba Mosque in the Abdoun neighborhood of the Jordanian capital broadcast Tarawih prayers through its Facebook account, and commented, “Tarawih prayers 15 Ramadan, Imam Sheikh Captain Musa Al-Taamari.”

The player also shared some clips of his leading the worshipers via the Stories feature on his Instagram account.

The Jordanian star recited the Qur’an with a sweet voice and clear reading that matched the most prominent voices of reciters in the Arab world.

Al-Taamari defies sanctions and supports Gaza

Al-Taamari showed a courageous stance when he declared his support for Palestine after the aggression against Gaza by the occupation army, defying “the French judiciary’s decision to punish everyone who shows solidarity with the Palestinian people.”

Al-Taamari shared the news about the punishment for solidarity and commented on it, saying, “In this way, we support the cause,” and he chose to have it accompanied by a picture in which he was wearing a shirt with the phrase “Stop the war on Gaza.”
