The Swedish coach Pablo Piñones-Arce helped build Hammarby into a top women's Swedish team.
Piñones-Arce led Bajen to a historic double last year and just before the season came the shock news that the coach chooses to leave his position.

SVT Sport can now reveal that the Swede is ready as technical director - and the Swede has also applied for the head coaching job.
If nothing unforeseen happens, it is expected to be official shortly.
Piñones-Arce is already in Houston to complete the deal.
Piñones-Arce joined Hammarby in 2020 and was part of the elite team up to the women's league.
