  • On the number on the far right, you can vote for your favorite.

    The call costs SEK 9.90, where 9.03 of the fee goes to the Sports Gala and Radiohjälpen's fundraiser "Sports is more than just sports" to combat mental illness.

  • The winner of Radiosport's Jerring Prize is voted for by the Swedish people and has been awarded every year since 1979. The most recent prize winner is ice skater Nils van der Poel.

THE SPORTS MIRROR PRIZE:

The Sports Mirror Award is awarded to the sportsman, sportswoman or the team who performed a remarkable performance in competition during the past year, and who, through their contribution, meant a lot to their sport.

The prize has been awarded since 1999 and the first prize winner was Tommy Söderberg, then the national team captain for the men's national football team.

Last year, the award went to the beach volleyball duo Jonathan Hellvig and David Åhman.

THIS WAS THE SPORTS GALA 2023:

The 2023 sports gala was arranged on January 16, and skating star Nils van der Poel took the grand slam.

He walked home from the gala with awards in the Male Athlete of the Year and Performance of the Year categories.

He also took home the Jerring prize.
