New violent and embarrassing episode at the doors of the
Metropolitano
in the dispute of another Madrid derby between
Atlético
and
Real Madrid
.
Dozens of fans of the red and white team have chanted "
Vinicius, you are a monkey!"
on the outskirts of the Colchonero stadium and a
TVE cameraman
has been attacked by radicals from the local team, according to Cadena Ser.
After several derbies in which tension has been growing, with racist chants against
Vinicius
, the
doll hanging over an M-30 bridge
and a
girl insulted
for wearing his shirt, the
Copa del Rey
round of 16 match left more reportable situations.
At the entrance to one of the stadium's vomitories, while the public entered the field in an orderly and respectful manner, dozens of fans could be heard calling
the Real Madrid forward, the starter tonight in the duel, a "
monkey ."
Furthermore, during the arrival of the Atlético de Madrid bus, a
Spanish Television
cameraman was attacked by radicals from the red and white team, who threw dozens of ice at the cameras and caused a head injury to the worker.
Later, with the two teams warming up, the Metropolitan public address system reminded that "
insults, racist chants and verbal or physical violence are punishable by law
."
"We ask you to help the club by showing respect. We are here to watch a great game and the fans are also part of it," he added.
