Last week, it was announced that Ibrahimovic, 42, is returning to Milan in a new role. In the press release, the Swede was referred to as the new "operational partner" who will act as an advisor to the club's management and be involved in the sporting activities.
On Friday, he is back on duty at the football stadiums, just over six months after he resigned as a player. During the team's away game against Salernitana, Pioli confirms that Ibrahimovic will appear.
"He's the same Zlatan. Obviously, it's a new role, but he's curious and determined," Pioli said.
Milan are third in Serie A, nine points behind rivals Inter who top the league.
