Tennis: Italy wins Davis Cup against Australia
The Italian team won the second Davis Cup in its history by dominating Australia 2-0 on Sunday 26 November thanks to two singles victories. World No. 4 Jannik Sinner swept aside Alex De Minaur 6-3, 6-0 to win the title, while Matteo Arnaldi earned the first point with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 win over Popyrin. The victory allowed the Italians to lift the "Silver Bowl" 47 years after their first success in the competition in 1976. They are also level with Croatia with two titles.
