Linus Omark was behind Luleå's victory against Frölunda

In the last SHL season for Linus Omark, in 2021/2022, he scored 58 points in 52 games. So far, the scoring king has not maintained the same average, with nine points in 17 games.

But against Frölunda, it was the returnee who took command with three points, of which a quick-thinking action that put goalkeeper Lasse Johansson up 2-0 in the game.

"He does the unexpected. Lasse Johansson, a bit synonymous with the team Frölunda. They don't have the same focus to compete with Luleå, says TV4 Play's expert Niklas Wikegård.

The goal was Omark's third in as many games.

"I got an open goal a few games ago. If you just get self-confidence, it's automatic, says Omark to TV4 Play.

After Luleå went up to 3-0, the victory seemed to be secured. But visiting Frölunda created tension in the whole thing with two reductions. Despite that, Luleå held on and won 4-2 after a goal in an open net.
