The Nadeshiko Japan, the women's national football team of Japan, who are aiming to qualify for next year's Paris Olympics, will face Brazil away from home on 2 and 30 next month as their final training matches for the final Asian qualifiers in February next year.

World No. 8 Japan won three consecutive matches in the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the Paris Olympics and will face North Korea in a home-and-away format in the final qualifiers in February next year.

Against this backdrop, the Japan Football Association has announced that they will play away matches against Brazil on 2 and 3 next month as their final training matches for the final qualifiers.

World No. 2 Brazil were eliminated in the first round of this summer's World Cup, but have already qualified for the Paris Olympics with one runner-up finish in the past World Cup and two Olympic silver medals.

Japan's record in the past is 30 wins, 3 losses and 9 draws, and the most recent meeting was in February when they faced each other at an international tournament held in the United States, losing 1-1.

Nadeshiko Japan's Head Coach IKEDA Futoshi commented, "We want to use this as an opportunity to further improve the team, and we will try to win the match by checking with the team and trying to make sure that we are strong enough for the final round of the Asian Qualifiers."
