Between 2007 and 2016, Falkenberg's men's volleyball team won a total of six Swedish championships. But this season, the team is not in the elite.

Sven Hämberg, former chairman, talks about the feelings when the decision was made that the economy could no longer be sustainable.

"It was tough. The discussions have been going on in the club for a couple of years. But it was a tough decision, a sad day for volleyball in Falkenberg. But now we had to keep the club, get the children's and youth activities up and running and get something big of our own going instead," he says.

Kasper Benjaminsson has instead gone to Hylte/Halmstad.

"Not being at the top anymore is one thing. But pulling out felt really sick," he says.
