On October 18, the Variétés Club de France will travel to Calais to play a match at the Stade de l'Epopée for the benefit of the Pièces Jaunes. Among the selection, Didier Deschamps, Éden Hazard, Christian Karembeu, Robert Pirès, Laurent Blanc, Ludovic Giuly, Sidney Govou, Yohan Cabaye, Mathieu Debuchy, Daniel Van Buyten, Claude Puel, Wilfrid Mbappé, Alain Giresse, Dominique Rocheteau, Souleymane Diawara, Julien Féret, comedian Redouane Bougheraba, rappers Roméo Elvis and Jok'Air and MMA champion, Ciryl Gane.
TEAM CALAIS will be made up of former players and personalities from Calais who will face the Variétés Club de France. Benjamin Bourigeaud (Stade Rennais) and Lucas Chevalier (LOSC), both from Calais by birth, will kick off the match refereed by Patrick Lhermite.
A cheque for the benefit of the Pièces Jaunes will be presented before the start of the match.
