How does SVT broadcast?

The broadcast starts at 08.00 and lasts until 12.00 on SVT 1 and SVT Play. Niklas Nord comments together with expert Anders Blomquist.

WHAT does the track look like?

The long course (90 km) starts in Uddeholm/Hagfors and then follows the river Klarälven south towards Karlstad. Towns and communities that are passed through include Munkfors, Ransäter, Deje and Forshaga. The track is relatively flat and the surface is asphalt and there is newly laid asphalt in the Forshaga area.

Which riders will get to the start?

Several profiles in the long-distance race elite from Sweden and Norway are participating. Among others, last season's overall winner in Ski Classics, Ida Dahl and Emil Persson. William Poromaa and Calle Halfvarsson from the cross-country team, Mona Brorsson and Peppe Femling from the biathlon team, Norwegians Petter Northug and Andreas Nygaard. Over 400 riders are registered for the 90-kilometer class.

WHAT DOES THE WINNER GET?

The first prize in both the women's and men's class is SEK 50,000. The runner-up gets SEK 30,000 and the third place SEK 20,000. Add to that two sprint prizes in Munkfors and Forshaga with a distribution of 5000, 3000 and 2000 SEK.
