A small round trip to Germany to sign his contract.

TFC midfielder Manu Koné has signed up until June 2025 (plus an optional extra year) with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The amount of the transfer, formalized this Thursday, has not filtered, but it would be below 10 million euros.

Koné (19) will not join the current 7th in the Bundesliga this winter, however.

He was loaned until June to TFC, 2nd in Ligue 2, which he will therefore help to ensure his mission "to climb back into the elite".

With Adli, Diakité, Rouault or Ngoumou, the French U20 international is one of the treasures of the 2000-2001 generation of TFC, finalist of the Gambardella Cup 2019. Midfielder with silky technique, he has already played 35 matches pro (two goals) but still has to simplify his game.
