Maradona said to Mario Boudry, husband of his ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda: "Take care of her and my angel," referring to his son Digito, according to what the British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported.

In addition, Veronica attended the funeral of the retired soccer player alongside Digito, where, on Friday, the Argentinians showed Maradona's body to his final resting place in the "Pia Vista" cemetery on the outskirts of the Argentine capital, and he was buried there next to his parents in a private ceremony, in the presence of his family and close friends only.
