  A total of 30,166 runners signed up for this year's Nanjing Marathon. According to the lottery results, 10,000 runners participated in the race, of which about 200 top domestic professional marathon runners participated.

Yang Shaohui finished second with a result of 2 hours, 8 minutes and 56 seconds, Dobje finished third with a result of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 3 seconds, and Chen Tianyu finished fourth in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 55 seconds.

The top four men all reached the Olympic standard of 2 hours and 11 minutes.

  Among them, Peng Jianhua and Duobujie have already met the standard before, while Yang Shaohui and Chen Tianyu have met the standard for the first time.

In the end, Li Dan won the championship and set his best time in 2 hours, 26 minutes and 57 seconds.

Jin Mingming, a player from Inner Mongolia, finished second with a result of 2 hours, 27 minutes and 8 seconds.

Bai Li of Liaoning finished third in 2 hours, 29 minutes and 10 seconds, and Pan Yinli of Yunnan ranked fourth in 9 seconds behind the third.

The top four female athletes also ran into the Olympic line of 2 hours, 29 minutes and 30 seconds.

  On the whole, it is not common for domestic athletes to create so many good results in a marathon event.

  According to statistics, including today’s newly-qualified athletes, there are currently 5 male and 10 female athletes in China that have reached the Olympic standards.

However, in accordance with the relevant regulations of the IAAF, each team can only send a maximum of three players in each individual event, so the final list of entries will not be confirmed until next year's trials.
