The match between Allsvenskan's two last placed teams, Helsingborg and Falkenberg, was certainly not a football party.

But it offered all the more drama.

Jumbon Helsingborg, who had left the series in the event of a loss, had more ball throughout the match.

But second-placed Falkenberg had plenty of dangerous counterattacks and was the team that created the most chances.

- It is important to try to create good results so you live into the final round.

What we could try to do was take three points home with us, and I think we make a good effort.

It is a bit cramped at times, but especially in the second half we make a good offensive forcing, says Falkenbergs coach Hans Eklund to Dplay.

Two shots in goal

The closest was Edi Sylisufaj, who hit the crossbar four minutes into the second half.

And on two occasions the guests had the ball inside the goal line, but both when Nsima Peter in the 70th minute in his first ball contact put a volley and when Christoffer Carlsson with ten minutes left thumped the ball from the goal area's left corner, the referee waved - quite right - with the offside flag.

The goalless match means that both teams' all-Swedish fate is in continued danger.

Helsingborg - who also had several chances (including a rib hit by Adam Eriksson in the first half) is still in last place, and can leave the series tomorrow, if Kalmar then defeats AIK.

- Sour, we aimed for three points, says coach Olof Mellberg to Dplay.

"Now it lives"

Falkenberg is now in the qualifiers, on the same points and with the same goal difference as Kalmar, but with more goals scored.

- It is clear that it is better with a cross for us than for Helsingborg.

Now it lives to the last round, says team captain Carl Johansson to Dplay.

In the final round, Falkenberg plays at home against Mjällby, while Helsingborg plays away against Norrköping.
