Djurgården was a big favorite when they faced AIK in SDHL today.

And even though the team started a bit carelessly in a fairly even first period, it eventually became a clear 5-1 victory, after a last period where the team took over in total and went from 2-1 to 5-1.

- In the third period we play really well, AIK does not really have time and we have a completely different speed there than in the first and second period, says Josefine Jakobsen to Sportkanalen.

Dalen scored two goals

The big match winner was Djurgården's Norwegian team captain Andrea Dalen.

The 28-year-old scored the first two goals himself and played until Josefine Jakobsen's 3-1 and Sofie Lundin's 4-1.

In particular, two of these achievements were high-class.

Partly the 1-0 goal, where she stood well placed in front of goal and sprinkled a nice backhand shot next to the post.

The performance to 4-1 was also really nice, where Dalen in the bottom right corner served an independent Sofie Lundin in front of goal that surely hit 4-1.

- It was fun to win.

It flowed well.

I think we had a bit of a tough start, but then we started to control the pucks well and got in a goal and then it rolled on, says Dalen to Sportkanalen.

"Tagged to a thousand"

The victory was Djurgården's third straight against AIK this season.

- We are tagged to a thousand but sometimes lose it in the match.

We are good in the period but then bad periods and they are good at using it, says AIK's Line Bialik Öien.
