Tonight, the SSL clubs on both the women's and men's side have a joint meeting with the Swedish Super League Association (FSSL).

But even before the meeting, Dalen's board has announced its opinion - pause SSL.

- We feel that with the situation that is in society now, it feels wrong to continue playing now.

All other matches here in Umeå have closed down when it comes to floorball and it is only the first team that we have that is running right now, says IBK Dalen's club manager Urban Karlsson

- Then it feels wrong to go around the country and play floorball.

In addition to the social part, the clubs also lose out financially on playing the season - a piece that Dalen also emphasizes in his letter.

- It is clear we feel that it is a big part of it all.

We lose every home game, it costs to travel around and the spread of infection increases.

Everything just builds up to us as an association being paused now.

- It's just losing deals all the time, but if we were to break the league now, the money would last longer.

How much minus would you go if the season continues?

- It is hard to say.

We have applied for money from the government in connection with dropouts in the form of cups and matches and received two approved applications, but we do not know how much money it will be.

Urban Karlsson hopes that more clubs like the Umeå team.

- I hope and believe that there are more than us who think like us and that we will propose to the Swedish Floorball Association (SIBF) that we pause SSL on both the men's and women's side.

- We wanted to send it out before the meeting so that people can prepare and not be shocked by this opinion.

We had a board meeting yesterday and wanted to give other clubs the opportunity to discuss this.
