- What are the conditions for the November training camp?

What did the team work on in the first two days?

- Today there were 22 field football players and three goalkeepers on the field.

We are waiting for Alexei Miranchuk and Denis Cheryshev, who played late matches for their teams yesterday.

Both will join us this afternoon.

They are healthy and, I think, will come in a good mood, because Miranchuk scored, and Cheryshev with Valencia won a crushing victory over Real Madrid.

Monday is normal.

We had a general recovery training, as someone played yesterday, and someone on Saturday, visited the bath complex.

More or less full-fledged lesson will take place tomorrow.

- On Sunday, it was announced about changes in the composition of the Russian national team for the next matches.

How was this decision made and how helpful was the backup list that was published a week ago?

- We have already said that under normal conditions the reserve list would not have been announced.

Now, due to the coronavirus pandemic and injuries, they published it so that those players who did not get into the main one were internally ready for the fact that they could be added.

Life has shown that we were right, since we had to make changes to the original list.

- The logistics of this collection involves a large number of trips.

Are there any peculiarities in this regard?

- Naturally, the managers flew to Turkey, Serbia and Moldova in advance.

We looked at the hotels, where we will live and train, how far away the airports are.

We have to play three games in a row away, so any hour is important for recovery.

We tried to work out everything as much as possible, and the RFU in this situation went forward and took into account our wishes.

- In November a large group of young footballers joined the national team.

What is important to them at this stage?

- Firstly, they worked for me yesterday.

Unless Roman Evgeniev and Daniil Lesovoy arrived later.

We'll talk with them today.

They are young footballers, but already worthy, since they are called up to the national team.

Today I set up the whole team for this: so that from the first second they switch and not just pour in, but prove their worth.

The same Andrei Mostovoy came to the first camp to see us.

We talked with him then, and now he arrived with a different attitude, with a desire to show his strengths and represent the country with dignity.

- Did the October experience of holding three matches in a week help you better prepare for the current training camp?

- The schedule is identical, but then we played all three games at home.

Now we have to go on a visit.

It is clear that the coaching and medical staff are doing some work.

This time, 24 field footballers received the call to the national team, and not 22, as usual.

We are analyzing the situation and hope that the October camp will benefit us.

We got some experience, but this applies not only to the Russian team, but also to the rest of the national teams.

- Several main players were absent at the previous training camp.

Now the national team also has losses.

Any thoughts on how to compensate them?

- We think about it.

On the one hand, it is already customary that before each training camp a certain number of players are eliminated.

On the other hand, it forces you to make decisions on the fly.

Naturally, the last couple of days we have been thinking about how we can cope with these problems.

And most importantly, a football player can play with dignity, but not be in shape.

Therefore, now it is important to assess the condition of each player and to play all three matches at that level in order to win.

- The day before, you announced that Artyom Dziuba will not come to the national team for the next matches.

Did you call him before announcing the withdrawal from the national team?

- First, the day before we said that anything happens in life.

We tried to protect the team from this situation as much as possible.

And Artyom himself needs time to come to his senses, to be in the family.

Therefore, we decided that he would not be at the November camp.

I did not speak with Dziuba, but members of the national team's coaching staff contacted him.

He initially knew about my verdict.

If such a situation occurs, it must be closed as comfortable as possible for all parties.

The national team needs to prepare for matches, and Dziuba, as the team captain, understands very well that we do not make frivolous decisions.

The development of events will prompt our further actions.
