The final tournament of the Japan League for softball women was held in Nagoya City, and in the final, BicCamera Takasaki won the championship in a row by defeating Honda 1-0 with the good pitching of Japan national team ace Yukiko Ueno.

The opening of the Japanese league was delayed by about half a year due to the influence of the new coronavirus, and the league match began in September.



Then, from the 7th, the final tournament, in which the top five teams in the league match are contested, was held at Paloma Mizuho Baseball Stadium in Nagoya City.



In the match, BicCamera Takasaki took the lead in the 5th inning with No. 9 and Kudo Kanna's sacrifice fly.



Japan national team ace Yukiko Ueno interwoven a powerful fastball with a changing ball to shut out the 7th inning with 14 strikeouts, and BicCamera Takasaki won 1-0 to win the championship in a row.



After the match, pitcher Ueno recalled, "The conditioning wasn't good, but it was the best culmination of the season."



For the Tokyo Olympics next year, he expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I want to do what I can do to meet my expectations without regrets."
