Hussein Al-Shahat will be absent from Al-Ahly

Today, Friday, the Egyptian Al-Ahly Football Club announced the absence of its player, Hussein Al-Shahat, from the Al-Jaysh match scheduled for Saturday, in the 34th and final stage of the Egyptian League.

In statements to the club's official website, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the club's director of football, said that Al-Shahat felt a slight strain in the back muscle, which made the team's technical staff led by South African Pitso Musimane prefer to rest him in that match.

Abdel Hafeez added that Tunisian Ali Maaloul, left back, the team returned to participate in training after recovering from the strain in the posterior muscle, which is why he missed the semi-final second leg of the African Champions League against Moroccan Wydad, which ended 3-1 in favor of Al-Ahly.

Al-Ahly was crowned the Egyptian League title for the 42nd time in its history, and it also reached the final match of the African Champions League, where the winner will face Zamalek and Raja Casablanca, in which the first-leg match ended with Zamalek winning 1 / zero.
