Al-Bataih accepts the resignation of his Italian coach, Tdesco

The Secretary-General of Al-Bataih Club, Obaid Saeed Al-Tunaiji, said that the club accepted the resignation of the Italian coach, Giovanni Tedesco, due to his health condition and his desire to leave for his country.

Al-Tunaiji confirmed in a press statement to the club that the resignation had been accepted.

He continued: The coach himself asked to leave, a clearance was made for him, and his full financial dues were handed over and deposited.

He said that it was not true that what was circulated on some social media that the coach had fled the club to his country.

He continued: The coach was infected with the Coronavirus, and the club took care of all financial expenses related to his treatment and care until his full recovery.
