The European Championship runner-up Denmark threatened to go on strike during this week's international matches if a new agreement, where the players were to be seen as employees of the association during national team assignments, did not materialize.

Yesterday they managed to resolve the conflict.

- We have entered into a partial agreement, as it is called.

Both parties are quite happy with it.

The rest of the agreement falls into place later, said Danish star Nadia Nadim.

But one consequence was that the players did not carry names but only numbers on the back during the match against Hungary.

- The shirts have no names because DBU refused to print them as yesterday they did not know for sure who would play, Ekstrabladet writes in a comment.

It was raining heavily in Györ.

Denmark had about a hundred fellow travelers with them.

The conflict is not resolved but the negotiation will be resumed after the qualifying match.

Denmark won 6-1 after strong Hungarian opposition in the first hour.

Rosengård's Sanne Troelsgaard won the match with his hat trick.
