Substitute Foden saves City against West Ham

Young substitute Phil Foden gave his Manchester City team a big boost and helped them score a 1-1 draw away to West Ham United in the English Premier League on Saturday.

And City failed to score the home side in the first half despite controlling the ball, while West Ham was well-deservedly successful in scoring the first goal by Michael Antonio in the 18th minute.

But Foden, 20, participated in the beginning of the second half to improve his team's performance greatly before scoring the visitors' equalizer in the 51st minute with a powerful shot near the post.

City then dominated the game but was unable to win despite Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez having chances to score the opponents' net.

West Ham and City rose to eight points each, and they are ranked 10th and 11th, respectively, although City have played less.
