Russian 32-year-old Khabib Nurmagomedov is seen as one of the UFC world's biggest stars.
But now his career is over.
After defeating Justin Gaethje on a technical knockout tonight, on "Fight Island" in Abu Dhabi, he announced that his career was over.
- This was my last match in the UFC, he said and put his gloves on the carpet.
Thus, Nurmagomedov ends his career with 29 victories in 29 matches, and as UFC champion in light heavyweight.
He has defended the title twice.
