Stricter guidelines entail, among other things, the dissuasion from arranging or participating in parties or similar social gatherings, and the general advice also covers various activities such as shops, sports facilities and workplaces.

It is still unclear whether the Uppsala clubs will play matches in the future.

- I do not think it is so clear how these guidelines differ from the previous ones.

If you have to interpret it harshly, I assume that there will be no match on Saturday and that we can not go to an away match because everyone wants us in Uppsala to stay at home.

And we meet Eos maybe not want to go here on Saturday either?

says Sonja Entzenberg, at sales and marketing, Uppsala Basket.

Storvreta sets

For Storvreta IBK, the season in SSL has meant a home match without an audience so far, but there were other plans: to take in 50 people seated and also have additional spectators in the lodges.

- Of course it is tough financially and if we had done as we planned, we might have been able to get the event to go around and cover our costs.

But we must simply contribute and help and do what we can to minimize the spread of infection from our side.

It is an obvious decision to set up and play without an audience, says Hannes Öhman, sales and marketing, Storvreta IBK.

IK Uppsala

IK Uppsala has a home match left, November 7 against Rosengård.

The new guidelines apply to begin with a framework until 3 November.

- Everything is recommendations so far.

Within the team, this was handled very well during the spring when there were restrictions.

It's really about reminding and continuing to hold on as we have worked before, says Linda Zillén, chairman of IK Uppsala.

- It does not feel like we will have any audience at all, we will see after November 3 if there will be an extension of the restrictions.

The club maintains a dialogue with its team doctor, who in turn has contact with infection control doctors in Uppsala.

Have you had any cases of covid-19 yourself?

- No, we do not have that.
