The former goalkeeper of the French football team Bruno Martini, current deputy director of the Montpellier training center, has died at the age of 58.

The former goalkeeper of the French football team Bruno Martini, current deputy director of the Montpellier training center, died at the age of 58, announced Tuesday the Hérault club, where he had put an end to his playing career in 1999.


Martini (31 caps between 1987 and 1996) had suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest at the beginning of last week at the Grammont training center, in the near periphery of Montpellier, before being transported to the Arnaud de Villeneuve hospital in serious condition.
