Lionel Messi gave an interview to the Catalan sports daily Sport in which he talks about his abortive departure after the rout against Bayern Munich in the Champions League (2-8).
Messi thus demanded that “all Barcelona supporters unite” to “put an end to possible disagreements” within the club.
“After so many disagreements, I would like to put an end to it.
All Barcelona supporters must unite to think that the best is yet to come, ”said the absolute star of the Blaugrana club, who finally remained at Barça after expressing the wish to leave this summer.

Messi had asked his club to terminate his current contract until June 2021, under a departure clause which, according to the club, was no longer valid this summer.
"I accept my mistakes, and if I did it was only to make FC Barcelona better and stronger," adds the Barça captain in this exclusive interview with the Barcelona newspaper.
