After tasting their quarter of an hour of glory, Tadej Pogacar and Julian Alaphilippe can return to where they came from: in the shadow of Jeannie Longo.

The French runner, now 61, was crowned PACA time trial champion last weekend in Avignon.

Licensed in the Var club of the Golden Wheel of Sanary, Longo completed the 22 or so time limits in 28 minutes, one less than his runner-up, Chloé Schoenenberger, 40 years younger.

Something tells us that Robert Marchand's records will jump in about thirty years.
