Anna van der Breggen -
At the 2019 World Cup, Van der Breggen had to settle for second place.
This year, the thirty-year-old Dutch is aiming for a gold medal.
If she continues the shape of the Giro Rosa she won, then that is certainly possible.

Ellen van Dijk -
She was disappointed that she was not selected for the time trial, but due to the absence of the injured Annemiek van Vleuten, 33-year-old Van Dijk can still make her appearance.
The 2013 world champion is immediately one of the favorites for the gold in Imola.

Chloé Dygert -
It was a big surprise when the 23-year-old American outsmarted the competition last year to become world time
This year Dygert is one of the absolute favorites for the overall victory.
The course seems to suit her well.

Van Vleuten positive about World Cup participation: "Yesterday was very hopeful"
It increasingly seems that Annemiek van Vleuten will defend her world title on the road on Saturday.
The Dutch saw her participation in the World Cycling Championships endangered after she broke her wrist in a crash in the Giro Rosa last week.
After a successful operation, however, she is confident that she can still appear at the start.
"I'm going to announce it on Friday, but yesterday was very hopeful", she refers
to a training session
"When I see how quickly I recover, I expect to be much stronger on Saturday."
