The World Road Championship was scheduled to take place in Aigle-Martigny, Switzerland, in mid-August, but was canceled due to the pandemic.
Now the competitions have been moved to Imola, 40 km outside Bologna in Italy, and the stages are very reminiscent of what had been expected in Switzerland.
On Thursday and Friday, the two speed races are run for ladies and then men.
