If you want to see goals, go to ice hockey.

Yes, that's an old motto.

And it was certainly true when Örebro hosted HV71 in Örebro's first SHL match of the season.

"Great sandwich!"

And several of the nine goals that came in Örebro's 5-4 victory were really nice.

Among other things, two of them were preceded by fine spin passes.

The first of these came 2.22 into the second period, when HV's Niklas Arell hit a pass from his own zone up to Jesper Kokkonen at the blue line.

He made a pirouette and recorded to Christian Sandberg who received the puck, aimed and put 2-2.

- A very nice sandwich!

It's good that he's seeing me there.

I have a lot to shoot at there.

It was nice that it went in, an important goal, says Sandberg to Sportkanalen.

Andersson put 3-2

But Kokkonen was not the only one who spun an assist.

5.50 later, just 41 seconds after Lias Andersson was 3-2 to HV, Mathias Bromé scrambled to a free position.

He was heavily courted by an HV player, turned and played behind his back to Borna Rendulic who put 3-3.

- I saw him come there, so I turned and suited him, Bromé calmly explained after the period.

But the spin goals in all glory, the best looking goal was actually the ninth, last and decisive match of the match.

In power play, the Örebro players then matched each other in a way that made them think of going back to the Soviet hockey stars in the 1980s.

Robert Leiono played straight across the zone to Joonas Rask who directly played on to Rodrigo Abols, who deliciously faked away goalkeeper Jonas Gunnarsson and then serverae Rendulic who put 5-4 in the open goal - which was the end result.
