Al Ain bid farewell to the Asian champions with a moral victory over Al Nasr

Al Ain team today succeeded in breaking a series of negative results in the AFC Champions League, which lasted 13 consecutive matches without winning, after it achieved a moral victory over the Saudi victory at the end of the first round of the fourth group.

The winning goal for Al Ain came through Togolese Laba Kodjo in the first half, to score the leader his first three points in the tournament, and reach the fifth point, depositing the tournament from the group stage in this exceptional version.

Al-Ain dominated the first half, and reached Al-Nassr goal, which rested most of its key players in preparation for the round of 16 after its rise was confirmed.

The leader took advantage of this and succeeded in controlling a game in which Al-Nassr did not reach Al-Ain's goal only once, and Al-Ain scored the goal after a corner kick played by Bandar Al-Ahbabi, and it fell inside the penalty area.

In the second half, Al-Nasr tried to reach Al-Ain goal and score a draw, but Al-Ain goalkeeper Khaled Issa shone in the match.
