More fear than harm for Martin Odegaard and his former Real Sociedad teammates.

Back in San Sebastian with Real Madrid for the first La Liga match on Saturday, the Norwegian wanted to greet all these beautiful people at the time of his replacement by Zinédine Zidane.

A shovel of handshakes that the Basque players could have bitterly regretted since the player, back at Real after a year on loan at Sociedad, tested positive for coronavirus at the end of a meeting that ended in a draw of 0-0.

The new tests all negative

Martin Odegaard missed the Merengue training on Tuesday.

He had to observe a period of isolation while awaiting the results of a second PCR test carried out immediately afterwards.

Test which turned out to be negative according to the official press release published Tuesday morning by the Merengue club.

"Following the Covid-19 tests carried out with our first team and its technical staff, all the results are negative", specified Real.

Martin Odegaard should therefore be part of the group that will travel to Seville on Saturday to face Nabil Fekir's Betis.
