Tove Alexandersson was the big favorite when the long-distance competition in the Swedish Championships today was decided in the forests outside Gothenburg.
But it became clear early on that something was not right with the Swedish megastar.
Already after 1.2 kilometers she was 42 seconds behind the leader Sanna Fast, and the distance then grew as time went on.
In the end, Alexandersson chose to break.
She did not want to give any interviews afterwards, but announced that she did not feel well.
