Tomorrow Monday, Tadej Pogacar turns 22 years old.

Today he can claim the victory of the Tour de France.

The young Slovenian did not let go of the lead he took yesterday and finished on the Champs-Élysées in front of 5,000 spectators.

He thus becomes the youngest tour winner in 105 years, when Henri Cornet won, according to France24, among others.

Behind Pogacar, compatriot Primoz Roglic finished second, while Richie Porte from Australia took third place.

Pogacar laid the foundation for his victory after a brilliant individual stage yesterday, which gave him a lead of 59 seconds.

He also won the mountain prize competition and the competition for best skier under 25 years - and therefore received a total of three jerseys.
