Mbappe leads Saint-Germain to a 3-0 win over Nice

France striker Kylian Mbappe made a great display and scored one goal to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-0 victory in Nice in the French first division football league on Sunday.

Mbappe, who missed the first three rounds due to his suffering from the Corona virus, gave Saint-Germain a goal from the penalty spot in the 38th minute and contributed significantly to the second goal of his colleague Angel Di Maria before Marquinhos concluded the hat-trick in the second half.

"I was happy to wear the shirt again because here in Paris Saint-Germain, when you miss a match, you feel you missed ten games," Mbappe told Canal Plus television station.

He said, "I spent the last few days watching TV and anxiously waited to come back. It is good to register, but we are going through a complicated phase and dealing with it is not easy."

"It was a wonderful victory, and returning to the path of victories is perfect," he added.

Saint-Germain scored six points from four matches and advanced to seventh place, on goal difference from Nice, tenth in the ranking.
