After almost three seasons in the American MLS team San Jose, Magnus Eriksson returned to Djurgården this summer.

Now he has scored his first goal for his new old team.

It came just over a quarter into the away match against Östersund.

Delicious by Kujovic

After a short tussle with the defender, Edward Chilufya finally tucked the ball home.

Emir Kujovic nicely let the ball pass him, after which Magnus Eriksson struck on a strike.

The otherwise big-playing Östersund goalkeeper Aly Keita got a hand on the ball, but did not manage to stop the ball from going into goal.

- It's just being in the right place in the box.

He has phenomenal speed and sets it up well.

Then it's such a nice half hit that goes in, says Eriksson to Dplay.

Kroon assisted

Eriksson's goal seemed to give Djurgården three points, but in extra time a hard pressing Östersund managed to equalize.

Simon Kroon struck a 30 meter free kick home 19 minutes into the match. 1 - 1 for the home team. Francis Jno-Baptiste reluctantly left the field.

- I just tried to get in front of goal and hit the ball and put it far down in the corner, Baptiste says to Dplay.

- We aimed for three points, but one is better than zero.

I have to praise them (Dif), they were good today.
