Emil Forsberg's RB Leipzig and Robin Quaison's Mainz faced each other in their premiere of the Bundesliga today.
After just over a quarter, Forsberg put 1-0 on penalties and he assisted Amadou Haidara to 3-1 at the beginning of the second half.
Quaison, in turn, was responsible for an assist to the guests' goal, but the visiting Mainz did not come closer than that.
Champions Bayern Munich top the series after 8-0 against Schalke on Friday and visit Hoffenheim next weekend.
