Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) only had a slim chance, and he grabbed it with a masterful hand.
However, nothing seemed capable of disturbing
the domination of Primoz Roglic
and his Jumbo-Visma team on this Tour de France 2020. Yellow jersey since the 9th stage, Roglic was 57 seconds ahead of Pogacar on Saturday 19 September before the cons -the 36.2 kilometer watch planned in Bourgogne-Franche Comté.

Roglic engulfed by a mad Pogacar
Only here, Tadej Pogacar perfectly exploited the small window of shooting which he had.
Fresher than Roglic, less feverish than Roglic, the double time trial champion of Slovenia has honored his reputation between Lure and La Planche des Belles Filles.
From the first kilometers, Pogacar erased its delay on a Roglic unable to withstand the shock.
The difference between the two men was clear on Saturday.
In the end, Tadej Pogacar brilliantly won this stage with a 1'56 lead over Primoz Roglic.
To find such a twist on the Tour de France at the penultimate stage, it would probably be necessary to go back to 1989 and the last-minute victory of the American Greg LeMond over the French Laurent Fignon.
On the finish line at La Planche des Belles Filles, the contrast was striking between an angels Tadej Pogacar and a livid Primoz Roglic, in the middle of a prostrate Jumbo-Visma team, as if struck down.

Barring a cataclysm, Tadej Pogacar will retain his first place, succeed Ergan Bernal and will then become the youngest winner in the history of the post-war Tour de France.
“
I'm in the middle of a dream, I don't know what to say.
We dreamed of this from the start and we succeeded.
It's incredible.
My dream was just to participate in the Tour de France, and today, I won it,
”commented the winner of the day.
