Julia Engström is predicted a bright future and took her long-awaited first tour victory just before the corona pandemic put an end to all play this spring.

After the break, Engström has not made much of a fuss of himself - until now.

On Friday's second round at Golf du Medoc, Engström hit a hole-in-one when she lowered a pitching wedge from around 120 meters on hole 8. Another six birdies contributed to Hallandskan's 64 round and eight under par in total gave a four-stroke lead when Engström had finished playing.

However, the lead may shrink as the second round game is still in progress.

The competition is decided over 54 holes and the third and final round is played on Saturday.
