There were reports circulating that a wasp sting was the reason why Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo was not present when Portugal defeated Croatia 4-1 in Sunday's Nations League meeting.

On Tuesday, the world star took part in the Portuguese training at Friends Arena and carried out the warm-up with the rest of the team - apparently without any problems.

The press conference was, of course, very much about the 35-year-old star.

- We will see what it looks like at the training - after that we make the decision.

It's about the world's best players.

If he shows the same level as his teammates and it feels good, then it is likely that he is a player.

If not, he will not be selected.

This applies to all players, says Fernando Santos and continues:

- Yesterday (Monday) we had a player who felt bad at the end of training.

The medical team examined and informed me so André Gomes did not go with us.

With the times now prevailing, it is unpredictable.

What we do know today is that Cristiano's infection is virtually gone.
