While Ligue 1 is taking a short break to make way for international matches in the League of Nations, the president of OL has, according to
Le Parisien
, decided to liven up the news of the French championship a little by calling on the League a small compensatory nest egg after the LFP's decision to prematurely end the 2019-2020 season because of Covid-19.
How many ?
Oh, three times nothing, barely 117.7 million euros.
Sum corresponding according to him to the damage suffered by his club due to the end of the championships on the 28th day when OL were only seventh in the standings.

It seems indeed perfectly improbable to imagine the LFP paying more than 100 million euros to OL even though its decision to stop the championship does not suffer from any illegality.
Especially since to pay this amount, the LFP would then have to levy it on TV rights, which aroused some indignation in the 19 other Ligue 1 clubs.
