After Australia last November, Brazil decided to impose equal pay between its women's and men's football teams.

The president of the Brazilian Football Confederation announced Wednesday that "bonuses and daily allowances" will be the same for women and men.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced on Wednesday that women will win as much as men in the selection, one of the first cases of equal pay in world football.

"The CBF has decided to allocate the same amount for bonuses and daily allowances for men and women, so the players will win as much as the players", declared the president of the Confederation, Rogério Caboclo, in conference of hurry.

The Australian federation had done so in November 2019

Thanks to these measures, the players called up for the women's selection will earn the same amounts as Neymar or the other stars of the men's team at each rally, including for match bonuses.

The Australian Football Association was the first to promote equal pay for men and women in November 2019.

In May, the American world champions were defeated in the judicial field, a magistrate having rejected their request for equal pay.
